About Our MDP Cell
Management Development Program [MDP] Cell of IGSB focuses on skill improvement, interaction ability, confidence building, competence, and capacity of managing projects in a cross-cultural environment.
The MDP cell aims at managerial development within a structured scenario & synergetic system of organizational behavior with value addition to recognize functional areas such as:

Open MDP Initiative by IGSB: “Bridging Learning and Leadership” (9th April)
On 9th April 2026, IGSB successfully conducted a one-day Open Management Development Program titled “Win Together: Mastering Goals and Teamwork” for OM Atharva Industries. The session was facilitated by Dr. Priyanka Darekar, Dr. Pallavi Sajanpawar, Prof. Neelesh Atre, and Prof. Snehal Masurkar. The interactive program combined theoretical insights with team-based activities and games, focusing on goal alignment, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving. Participants engaged actively through discussions and group exercises, gaining practical, immediately applicable takeaways. The program reaffirms IGSB's commitment to developing industry-ready, collaborative, and value-driven professionals.

Faculty Development Programmes (FDP)
Faculty Development Program on Innovative Teaching Pedagogies (9th to 16th July 2026)
Indira Global School of Business (IGSB) successfully organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) from 9th to 16th July 2026, aimed at empowering faculty members with innovative, learner-centric teaching methodologies and contemporary pedagogical practices. The week-long program featured experiential sessions on Design Thinking, Impactful Team Dynamics, Theatrical Techniques in Teaching, Case Study Method, Role Plays and Skits, and Case Study Development. The FDP was enriched by the expertise of eminent academicians and industry professionals, including Dr. Pallavi Sajanapwar, Dr. Niranjan Pednekar, M. Swathi, Dr. Milind Marathe, Soham Dadarkar, and Amarendra Chitale. Through interactive workshops, discussions, simulations, and hands-on activities, participants explored innovative approaches to enhance classroom engagement, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving among students. A key highlight of the program was its emphasis on experiential learning, encouraging faculty members to integrate real-world case studies, design thinking, and theatrical techniques into classroom teaching. The sessions also strengthened participants' understanding of effective teamwork, leadership, and learner-centric pedagogy. The FDP served as an excellent platform for professional development, peer learning, and knowledge sharing. By equipping educators with contemporary teaching tools and innovative instructional strategies, the program reaffirmed IGSB's commitment to academic excellence and its vision of creating engaging, impactful, and future-ready learning experiences for management students.

The National Conference on “Innovation Meets Sustainability: Forging the Future Together” was inaugurated in the distinguished presence of our esteemed Guests of Honour—Dr. Bharat Kasar, CMA Ajit Shinde, and CMA Balkrishna Ananda Hajare.
Their inspiring addresses set a purposeful tone for the conference, fostering meaningful dialogue and insightful exchanges focused on driving innovation and building a sustainable future.


Academic Year 2024–25
Fintech for inclusivity and sustainability
This conference was organized at IGSB to promote student research activity. The conference saw a wonderful response with 35 students participating and presenting research papers on "Fintech for Inclusivity and Sustainability". The inauguration was done by CMA Sagar Malpure, Chairperson, ICMAI PCA Chapter. Valuable inputs were given by Prof. Chetan Wakalkar (Academic Advisor - IGI) and Dr. Virendra Tatake (Director - IGSB). The program successfully showcased multiple dimensions of Fintech and encouraged student researchers.

India's Growth Story Amidst Global Challenges
Team Indira celebrated a National Conference in association with ICMAI - PCA Chapter. The theme was "India's Growth Story Amidst Global Challenges". A total of 57 researchers participated and presented research papers, contributing to a rich academic discourse.

Academic Year 2022–23
National Conference in Association with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India PCA
A national conference on "Advancements in Business and Management Sciences: Embracing Change, Sustainability & Transformation" was organised by IGSB on 11th January 2023 in association with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, PCA Chapter. The objective was to provide a platform for budding and experienced researchers to discuss topics of sustainability, growth and transformation. Notable guests and speakers provided insights aligned with the conference theme.
